๐ธ Arguing About Money ๐ธ Okay @justrob, this one's for you: A domestic squabble. And what do WLWers fight about? The same things MLWers fight about, the top item being... MONEY! In our case, it's an interesting dynamic: Because I make so much more than my partner (thanks to my STEM degree and tech salary), I sometimes incorrectly believe I should be able to spend as I please. Most surveys reveal that money is the top cause of relationship strife, and that's certainly true of us. But you know what? After 20+ years of money fights, I'm actually GLAD my partner held the line and kept me from spending too freely, because if not, we wouldn't be able to quit our jobs and leave the country to get away from the Orange Tyrant. So yes, WLW relationships (like MLW and other types of relationships) are not all kisses and hugs. The important thing is to respect your partner, find a compromise you can both live with, and then forgive and forget (at least until the next fight haha). โค๏ธ Model: GPT Image 1.5 Low Prompt: A frustrated brunette woman wearing glasses and office clothes sits at a home office desk lit only by a single desk lamp. The brunette is frowning and trying not to get mad, one hand on her forehead, the other hand clenched on the desk's surface. A beautiful blonde woman, wearing blue jeans and a midriff-baring white top with spaghetti straps, stands behind the blonde, her mouth open as if mid-yell, gesticulating at the brunette as if trying to make a point about something. On the wall behind them is a watercolor painting of the two women in which they are smiling. There are some green house plants on the desk and a large green fern in the corner.

Okay, first of all, the "Orange Tyrant" comment made me laugh out loud. Secondly, relationships aren't all kisses and hugs? Crap, we've been doing it wrong!?

Arguing with a woman is far more challenging than arguing with a man and I will fight anyone that says it is isn't!

Though I hate it when arguments sometimes happen, it's usually old baggage that's our trigger.

It's very good advice. Especially the compromise and forget. I think we people hold onto old grievances by remembering even if they said they forgive, they build up so forgetting can be important -- as long as it's not an excuse to not change and continue to do things you know drives your partner up the wall. I have a problem with the forget part so I'm great int he honeymoon stage but then I'm not so good.

Very interesting!! Yeah, money is a problem sometimes. But we did not argue about money for some years now.
