"Salem" is a television series set against a historical backdrop, though it incorporates numerous fictional elements. The plot takes place in 17th-century America—during the era of the witch trials and the Puritans. The images are taken from the series' opening credits; I hope they aren't too disturbing.

Never saw the show, and thought based on title maybe would be a dramatisation of the Steven King novel (which I have not read). Images are fantastic
