Entry in the Your Inktober drawings theme on BudgetPixel.

Inktober 2026 Day 17 : contraption well I had no idea how to draw a "contraption", my word for the day. So first I asked Muse AI model to draw me a contraption so I had something to sketch. I just knew I wanted a coffee contraption of some sort or another so here's my prompt. 1. Muse, my prompt for contraption with some halloween words cuz it's the season, monochromatic art words to make it easier for me to sketch, + a couple of -punk words cuz I like 'em: ***surreal crazy whimsical contraption, coffee, cutesy scary, horrorcore, fairypunk, inkpunk , inkwash, zenga, sumi-e*** 2. Looking at that. This is what I drew. How do you think I did? laughing. yeah, I know. I also did recipe cards with my sketch: https://budgetpixel.com/p/98102 3. Muse: my image + prompt: ***colorful symbolist art movement*** Note: Symbolists used many art mediums but I've found AI models lean towards oil painting for Symbolist art. **The Symbolist art movement** is a late 19th-century avant-garde reaction against realism that used metaphorical imagery, dreams, & mythology to express subjective ideas and spiritual truths. 4. Muse: my image + prompt: ***colorful art brut, symbolist art movement*** Note: AI models tend to make Art Brut images look like a child or untaught artist did it. Mediums may reflect that so acrylics, color pencils, crayons, etc. **The Art Brut movement** refers to spontaneous, uninhibited works created by self-taught, marginalized individuals such as psychiatric patients, prisoners, and children who operate completely outside mainstream academic culture and artistic traditions. 5. Flux 3: my image + prompt: ***colorful art brut, symbolist art movement** 6. Grok: my image + prompt: ***colorful art brut, symbolist art move October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. There are other daily drawing prompt sites https://inktober.com/rules
