Cthulhu wearing a straw hat and Hawaiian shirt relaxes on a tropical shore holding a coconut cocktail at sunset
This whimsical fantasy illustration shows a laid-back Cthulhu on vacation, reclining half-submerged in turquoise tropical ocean water while wearing a frayed straw sun hat and red floral Hawaiian shirt. He holds a garnished coconut tiki drink, with an active smoking volcano, palm trees, and warm golden sunset sky stretching across a lush island backdrop. The lighthearted, playful tone subverts classic menacing Lovecraftian lore with bright warm tropical colors and a relaxed vacation mood.

I had a good laugh, picked it for the humour but suppose too far off what people were expecting, and final placing not a surprise. Sometimes you just have to say WTF and just do it

Of course! An ancient power also has the right to a vacation

Oh my friend! That position is so unfair! Excellent image

Thank you for the support, my friend 😊 I also expected some higher position, when an ancient power is relaxing in Hawaii 😅

TheBard

Thank you very much 😊👍 Yes, indeed ... hunh ... isn't it the most obvious ancient power ? 🤔😁
