Crouched elf archer holding a bow waits stealthily in a torchlit stone castle corridor
This cinematic fantasy artwork depicts a sharp-eared elf rogue in weathered brown leather armor crouching low in a dim, torch-lit medieval castle hallway. Warm amber firelight casts long dramatic shadows, including a playful anachronistic shadow of a woman rolling tabletop RPG dice on the stone wall beside her. The tense, stealthy mood evokes classic dungeon exploration and high fantasy adventure.

laughing, I thought that was funny when I saw it so I voted for it. I hope she gets a good roll for accuracy

Brilliant idea and execution. I picked it. Would have worked the other way around as well, perhaps even better

I think it wouldn't have worked well the other way. This way was funnier because of how the character was looking expressively at the dice roll as her stats depends on it. It would be harder to tell that narrative if she is the shadow instead.

I guess the idea and implied story is quite different, depending on what is real and what is shadow.

I didn't understand during voting but now I realised it is a D&D reference 😅

very cool idea indeed!
