[Surreal scene of personified living chess pieces arranged on a giant chessboard inside a misty gothic castle hall]
This atmospheric dark fantasy digital illustration depicts personified, life-sized chess pieces positioned on a giant marble chessboard inside a misty gothic cathedral hall. The whimsical surreal scene features a bearded crowned king riding a wooden rocking horse, matching crowned queen figures, stone golem and armored knight sentries, and tiny armed pawns, flanked by traditional black and ivory chess pieces. Dramatic low lighting and wispy floor fog build a moody, fairytale-inspired tone.
