This warm vintage-style illustrated meme features a diverse group of grey, black, tabby, orange, and tuxedo stray cats gathered on a pine-needle covered forest floor, sharing scattered food next to a large tree trunk and metal water bowls. The overlaid heartfelt quote reads "I see people complaining about those who feed stray cats, but nobody mentions the ones who abandon them", a widely shared statement advocating for pet responsibility and compassion for homeless animals. Earthy warm sepia tones give the artwork a cozy, gentle mood that highlights the message of support for stray cat welfare.

We found what we thought was a kitten on our deck a few years ago. It was a chilly and rainy day, so we brought it inside and cared for it. When we took it to our vet for a checkup and shots, we were told it was not a kitten but a small, older cat with kidney problems. We kept her for another week until she started showing signs of weakening, then took her back and put her to sleep. We were very sad to have to do it, but we didn't want her to die in pain.

I love people like you! I tend to bring them home with me, much to my wife's frustration, because I don't know where they came from. I wait a week for someone to claim their cat. If no one does, and they don't, I'll take it to my vet. If everything checks out, then ta-da, we have another member of our family.

No I scream like crazy about that ALL THE TIME!!! Humans are incredibly irresponsible in how house cats are handled and it's often the absolute most massive cat lovers that are the absolute worst about it. Cats can be cool AF, but some of the people that love them definitely aren't.

That's sad that people complain about feeding stray cats. My best most favorite cat was a stray cat I fed who moved in with me. Great cat. He passed away long ago but I still remember how affectionate he was.

I agree. My landlord has a rule that we are not to feed stray animals. That has yet to stop me.

That's cool. That's how I got marmalade. One of my neighbors would feed the strays and Marmalade started coming around

Thanks, Tara. Our landlord frowns upon people feeding stray animals, but that has yet to stop me.

That was so nice of you to do- and so heart breaking.

Poor kitties! I would never abandon my babies!
