Tyrannosaurus rex stands on a rocky cliff as fiery meteors fall during the dinosaur extinction event, with other dinosaurs...
This dramatic paleoart depicts the apocalyptic Cretaceous extinction event, with a Tyrannosaurus rex perched on a rugged cliff as a shower of burning meteors streaks across the dark night sky. Herds of panicked sauropod and other prehistoric dinosaurs scatter across a dense ancient forest below, reacting to the incoming asteroid impact that ended the age of dinosaurs. The scene uses moody atmospheric lighting, contrasting the warm fiery glow of meteors against deep indigo twilight to build tense, foreboding drama.
