"The brave vanguard sends the first glimmer of hope. The mighty titan makes that hope a reality." I wanted to do something like everyone would do - a gigantic mecha robot (titan) serving as massive backup support for a much smaller forward-charging army (vanguard). Along the way something popped up in my mind to do something different and closer to reality instead of fantasy - a Search-and-Rescue dog that helps to navigate through hard-to-reach places to detect survivors in a crisis (vanguard) while the human backups come in to save them (titan). I thought that was a beautiful narrative that stands out for the theme. I completely expected this to be at the bottom of the ranking as people would likely not vote for the idea that seems to deviate too much away from the theme. Ended up bottom 4th (55 out of 58 entries) which I am totally not upset about.
