He said in Greek, it's "κεραμιδόγατα Κεραμίδι Γάτα" AI models can do a lot of different languages when prompting but sometimes they have trouble with idiomatic phrases so I decided to test the models to see if they understood the phrase to be cats, especially cats napping on tile roofs in the sun. the prompt: κεραμιδόγατα Κεραμίδι Γάτα success = alley cat which is the idiomatic meaning of the phrase bonus success = an alley cat on a red tile roof which is how the phrase came about I will show the models and their price on 4/30/26 . OK I am impressed!! All model undertood the cat meaning and many addet the roof tile. Some were spot on! I didn't expect that! Flux Schnell Ultra appears to have gotten the greek connection - yes, it does look like a greek landscape, that one. Groc's Greek fnt on that sign was impeccable! And what impressed me the most" Seadream 4.5, under the words of the prompt has a phrase in smaller letters. It is mangled, but easily recognized as the greek phrase: χειροποίητη κεραμική έκδοση which means Hand-Made Ceramic Edition. How about that!! And then I googled the english phrase and it came up with greece-related references. so there is the explanation!

@CaylaCatz an interesting experiment as always and some lovely cat pics, whether on the red tile roof or not. My only observation is that in my eyes - **MINE** - none of these cats look like alley cats. They look to me like well loved and cared for domestic cats, rather than cats 'living rough' which is a nuance I have for an alley cat.

lol, that's funny tht you would buy them. I'd like the Klein one tho. It'd be nice to build tht into a pathway. I wonder sometimes if some peple do use AI to give them ideas to make real stuff. There've been a few things I thought Oooh, I'd like that for real.

Well done! I actually like those failures that feature cats made of red tiles. Very creative! 😄 Especially the two by ImagineArt 1.5 and Flux 2 Klein; how cute! If you get a manufacturer to make them for real and market them through Home Depot, I may very well buy them.

In fact several of these would look very good as garden art: GPT’s tile cat, HiDream’s cat tile, and SeeDream’s and Recraft’s pottery kitties—I can totally see my wife going “awwww” and taking them home from Home Depot or Lowe’s.

For me alley cat and domestic cat is synonymous meaning they are not purebreds. We say "feral cats" out here for cats who don't have a home. But that may be a regional difference. I think panos probably meant it as your idea of domestic cats and not feral cats.

thank you. I think AI has no trouble understanding most languages. However, i think the AI is very literal and does not understand slang in some languages. That's what I think this test showed me.
