Introduction This has been an idea percolating for a LONG time. Inspired by all the styles shared by @justrob I thought I'd start a blog and share some of the styles I have developed and reused. I'll start a table of contents of sorts here. Each time I update I will add a reference at the top of the list. For each style section I will add the style prompt. The styles will be showcased using a consistent set of images. So the first entry will be those 6 images with their prompts. All images will be generated using GPT1.5 on the Low setting. Golden age American illustration Style: Golden Age American Illustration in the style of J.C. Leyendecker. Medium: Oil painting on canvas with a highly polished, commercial-art finish.Technique: Bold, "sculptural" brushwork using distinct parallel hatching and chiseled, angular marks. Aesthetic: High-contrast spotlighting, clean graphic edges. Demo subjects with prompts Portrait A classic head and shoulders Subject is the head and shoulders portrait of an italian woman, three-quarter side view. She has long auburn hair falling in soft curls to her shoulders, hazel eyes, refined features. Make up is perfect accentuating lips, eyes, lashes, and high cheek bones. She wears a pale pink silk blouse, open to reveal a glimpse of black lace bra and swell of her breasts. She wears a ruby pendant necklace and matching tear-drop earrings. Background is a solid abstract design. Red with a twist I as tempted to use one of my favourite subjects vis Red drinking a coffee at a sidewalk cafe, but decided for this I would change it up. Red also enjoys a glass of red Subject is a woman sitting in a booth in a wine bar. She has medium length dirty blonder hair cut in a messy lob style with bangs, ice blue eyes, dark eye shadow and lip stick. She is wearing a figure hugging, mid-thigh length azure blue stretch knit dress with a scooped neck and ribbed pattern, and knee high brown boots. Her legs are crossed elegantly. The wall behind her is dark panelling with a painting of a piano player. The booth is ox-blood red leather in a victorian style. She exudes confidence and chic elegance. Sunset walk on the beach I nearly created this image for the very first BP DC, Golden Hour Companions, but went with a moth. Subject is a couple walking hand in hand on the beach at sunset, side view from an angle. Man wears baggie blue shorts and a yellow vest. The woman wears denim daisy duke shorts and a cropped gold top. Their dog is running on the beach in front of them. Sun is low casting a soft orange light over the scene and rippled reflection in the water. Surfer GAI has improved beyond recognition in how it renders certain subjects since I discovered GAI txt2img over 2 years ago. Images of surfers is one such subject. Also noticeable to me are guitars and guitarists, archers with bow and arrow, even people holding glasses. Subject is a man wearing a colourful colourful baggie swim-shorts. he has long tousled wet hair. He is crouched in a natural pose (sideways on the board) as he emerges from the tube of a breaking wave at Hawaii's Pipeline beach. Rising sun casts a golden light and reflection on the water. Mediterranean sunset I am a sucker for sunsets, sea and the addition of some coastal features, be it the a person or in this case, an idyllic coastal town. Lake at sunset Like I said, sucker for sunsets Subject is a red sunset, dark reds, purples and golds, light reflecting in the clouds. There is a lake with the surface rippled by a gentle breeze, picking up the light of the sunset. Mountains and forests in the background
