Retro sci-fi illustration of Battlestar Galactica crew facing off against Cylon Centurions in deep space
This vintage painted concept art for the original Battlestar Galactica shows colonial warriors and Commander Adama firing blasters as silver armored Cylon Centurions advance. The background features colonial starships and Vipers orbiting a blue habitable planet against a dark starry space backdrop. The tense, adventurous retro space opera aesthetic uses warm tan uniform tones, shiny metallic robot details, and soft illustrated linework.

Thank you my friend! I had the same problem in reverse, watching the remake. 🙂Bonanza and the A-Team, had already stopped playing in our channels by the time I was old enough to watch shows, so Galactica was my first view of Lorne Green and Dirk Benedict. (I found it great that the old Apollo had a role in the remake, playing Zarek)

Great, my friend! I saw the remake. I can’t watch the original because, by the time I got around to it, I already associated the actors with other roles—all I see is the Cartwright patriarch from *Bonanza* and Templeton "Face" Peck from *The A-Team*.

I think this rarely aired on TV when I was young, so I never really had a chance to watch it, and now my live is currently to busy...

Yes, there are times I do, my friend. Not that it was a paradise, but in many ways, our society then was better.

Oh I remember that one! Lorne Green makes a great patriarch. Battlestar Galactica. Very cool!
