Two women in traditional attire share an iftar gathering on a historic Cairo rooftop at golden hour
Warm hazy golden hour light spills over a Cairo rooftop where two women sit close together on a patterned kilim rug, overlooking the iconic sandstone domes and minarets of old Islamic Cairo. A polished brass tray holding sweet dates, traditional glass tea cups and a copper pitcher rests before them, the scene wrapped in a soft, affectionate, peaceful mood with rich warm earthy, burgundy and indigo color tones. This quiet intimate moment captures the warmth of Ramadan gatherings and loving friendship.
