I think it's cool how much thought you put into the background details for your characters 😁 But I also feel a bit silly for only just noticing the obvious 😅

No need to feel silly. It's not like I put all the background information in every post I make. I love my girls, writing about them is almost like writing wish fulfillment. Places I'd like to go, confidence I wish I had, a time I'd love to have been able to see (despite the repressive nature of society back then). Nobody dreams about a perfect life where we aren't beautiful, intelligent and confident after all.

Yes as a matter of fact I've described Kate repeatedly as being a "Marilyn Monroe" type. Calista is modeled on Rita Hayworth (no I don't look like Rita or Marilyn IRL unfortunately). There is even a scene in my novel where Kate meets Arthur Miller before he married Marilyn and he is flirting with Kate (much to Calista's displeasure).

Yes really, Calista (the redhead) is an introvert and a bookwork, a lover of history. Someone who is shy and even a little awkward socially sometimes. Kate(the blonde), is an extrovert. She isn't just beautiful, she is charming, charismatic and confident. There is more to it than that but it basically summarizes them as characters.
