I agree that GPT2 probably understand emoji the best and I like it's linear logic in dealing with them. I agree with you on the ink pen adding a bit of something something to the emoji prompt images. Most of the time I throw the inkpen into my emoji prompts.

if you want to do a search, I use https://emojidb.org/ . You type in the text in the search like "moon" and it shows you moon emojis including symbols and combo emojis. This is another search text = emoji site but only emoji, no symbols: https://emojipedia.org/ . If you just want a list, this is the most complete list of emojis but not searchable : https://unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-emoji-list.html . Often I just search in google.com for "___ emoji" and google will show me. When I find an emoji, I collect it in Notepad so it's easy for me to organize and find later. I hope that helps.

yes, in a prompt you can enter an emoji without text. Especially GPT2 is good at looking at the emoji and creating a pictures. ✒️🖍️. 💃🏻🏖 🌅 . That should make you a picture of a dancer on a beach at sunset. The pen and crayon sometimes make an art style so it's not like photographic reality. Sometimes tho the dancer might hold the pen and crayon. It can go both ways.

Wow, that one little pen emoji has a significant effect on some of the models, turning their images from more realistic to more hand drawn (which makes sense, given the emoji). But then on other models, it has no discernible effect and the changes could simply be due to different seed. Thanks for the comparison!

Do you know if there is a whole table of all emoji prompts and their meanings somewhere? Just enter the emoji into the prompt without the text?

I think I preferred the version with the inkpen emoji in almost all examples and would pick GPT2 as the model to use

yes! I agree with your assessment. I think some models have a strong leaning towards realism so you need something more than an ink emoji to shake them out of it. Some, like Seedream 4.5, on the other hand leans towards an anime look so you have the opposite problem -- I think emoji plays into its desire for anime. This is still speculation on my part. I'd need to do much more experimenting -- more like justrobs where I do 5 different prompts in one model and repeat the same 5 prompts with ink pens to really tell.. but nah, sounds expensive. However since I'm at 9Gb on my asset storage and can only have 10GB, I am using these blogs to store some earlier emoji experiments before deleting the images. So you'll probably see these blogs daily but with different emoji prompts as I erase images until I get down to 8GB. So I might be able to confirm the realism/anime model leanings later.

They are a lot of fun. You can even mix and match. A lot of my prompts these days combine emoji and text but that's partly because I've started compiling an emoji dictionary , lol.
