//D&D: Radiant Citadel, Session 11; *Glint's Party vs Lyka, the Cultist of the Shattered God*. [TLDR: comments/inspiration, lore, Fight scene + map] So this is building on a previous post and a comment from @CaylaCatz: "Very cool! What kind of a boss was it? And what's at the bottom? stairs? outdoors? what's in the tile room? the showers? (laughing, I couldn't resist that)". JMN: "I had to go looking for it ~[DM took a photo of the game session and accidentally caught the stat block in the picture😋]~ it is called a "Cultist of the Shattered God". Basically, it is a lvl 13-14 cleric vs 3 lvl 3 PCs and 1 NPC. *We should have died*😋" Then @panos chimed in: "Be careful in the Fallen Stalactites Chamber, man!!!" JMN: "😁It's funny you should say that; inside that room is the where Glint had his first brush with death. A mini-boss battle happened and the room was falling apart, Glint took the front-line role after our Cleric got dropped with a single spell. He rushed in, threw out a Healing Word to the Cleric and then zapped the lil boss [Lyka] with Shocking Grasp. It replied by stabbing him in the chest and neck; each of its fingers grew like shards of crystal, straight into the Druids body. He [Glint] crumpled to his knees at the vicious attack...😱" So I cleaned up the map, spiced it up a bit and recreated the scene. Enjoy!

Thanks bro!~ Yeah they saved his ass [didn't show the near death experience😅]. This fight nearly TPK'd us; if Glint didn't run in to force Lyka into melee combat, she could have used "Shatter" on us while we stood too close to each other. Also, if we hadn't killed her twin Kyla a couple sessions earlier, we would have been fighting both of them and surely been overwhelmed/TPK'd.😖
