Thank you sonny! Heh! That's the greatest function of a cover, isn't it?! (And, btw, I am very happy! today, after work, I went to my favorite bookstore, and found a brand-new copy of Larry Niven's and Jerry Pournelle's "The Mote In God's Eye"!!!! Hooray!!!!!

I agree with the comment @nametaker . I love pulp magazine covers and your designs based on them. Panos: The King of Pulp magazine!

🙂🙂🙂 (BtW. I was talking with a russian guy on NC some months back - he's into Stalker, too - and he told me that in Russia, there ARE series of pulp novels about Stalker: over a 100 in number!!! He had the kindness of sending me a bundle of them as e-books, but they're in russian. I'll see what can be done with translation programs. Of course, the very idea of e-books is anathema to me 😃 but there's no other way of reading those books)

Those pulp covers are so much fun! Unlike 'normal images' you can cram so much stuff in there, and it doesn't have to be in scale or adhere to some sort of a unified, overarching spatial logic, and this opens up so many new opportunities. Very cool!

Awww you are very welcome. When I put my name at the bottom of my images it makes me feel like a real painting artist, not that ai artists aren't real too b/c we are.

CaylaCatz

wow! you must have been in 7th heaven. I'm imagining you becoming fluent in Russian just so you can read the books. What form of ebook?

panos

Thank you! (Oh, no, not magazine - it's a series of pulp paperbacks! The ones I grew up reading and you don't find around anymore)

archangeltara

Oh ok thats what I thought you meant. When I go to your site it shows them on 1 post only?

panos

Thank you very much, for your generous tip, my friend! You can see Cobra on the third cover. 🙂
