Rough pen sketch of a surreal twisted bolt concept drawn on lined notebook paper — This loose hand-drawn ink doodle features a surreal interlocking twisted bolt design, rendered in messy sketchy black pen on lined notebook paper. Small handwritten brainstorming annotations surround the draft, with a casual improvisational ideation mood, all monochrome black on off-white lined paper. This quick concept sketch captures a playful experimental mechanical design idea.

Rough ink doodle of a twisted wrapped stylized star drawn on lined notebook paper — This quick hand-drawn pen sketch features a sharp angular six-pointed star wrapped in looping twisted arrow bands, rendered in loose scratchy black ink on lined white notebook paper. The monochrome design has an edgy grunge tattoo concept aesthetic, with light hatching shading and small signature doodles in the page corners. The informal sketch has a casual, spontaneous mood typical of idle notebook doodles.

Glowing double-terminated purple crystal orbited by light rings floats in starry cosmic space — A luminous double-terminated purple magical crystal floats against a deep star-filled outer space backdrop, wreathed in swirling glowing cyan energy rings. The crystal shifts from deep indigo to pale lavender, glowing with inner light that casts soft radiant beams into the surrounding purple nebula. The mood is mystical and otherworldly, evoking themes of cosmic magic and ancient fantasy relics.

Hand drawn fantasy map of the floating Radiant Citafell crystal city set in a starry astral night sky — This intricate watercolor fantasy map illustrates the Radiant Citafell, a magical floating city built around a giant faceted crystal spire suspended in a hazy starry astral plane. Deep indigo and violet cosmic skies frame the warm golden glow of the central auroral diamond, with tiered circular town rings, docked airships, and ethereal winged spirits drifting around the citadel. The detailed labeled art is designed for tabletop RPG worldbuilding, with a whimsical, magical adventurous mood.

//D&D notes: Mystical/Map [Auroral Diamond sketch] #1=original sketch, #2=mystical, #3 mystical, #4= simple lore prompt. [The Radiant Citadel is a setting-agnostic, magical city carved into a giant fossil called the that floats within the deep Ethereal Plane. Built around a life-giving gemstone called the *"Auroral Diamond"*, it serves as a multicultural hub and connecting point for diverse civilizations across the D&D multiverse.]

Back in primary school we had art classes, and I was never any good, never was encouraged. So I considered it something that I lacked the required talent. Much the same as playing the guitar. Veventually I learned that talent is really over-rated. If you have desire and dedication plus the ability to let yourself be taught, then one can do most things. Art was one, and guitar another (have I shared my YouTube channel with you). I have shot a bow once or twice, it is fun. My son got into it in high school and then got out of it when at varsity which was not helped by Covid lockdown

Yup, and one's natural abilities may influence the pace at which you learn (I think I struggle more with guitar and singing than some other do but did get somewhere eventually) and how proficient you become (again I am not what I'd say really good on guitar but can play and sing some simple songs)

I had a dabble and did a few years of art around 2000. A class on a Monday night. Thoroughly enjoyed it and have some drawings, pastels and oil paintings hanging in the house. Eventually it got traded for Toastmasters - only so many evenings out appropriate in my marriage

Oh wow, so cool. I love that it created the radiant cidel... citafell. Cool name. Fun how it riffs on your drawing
