The life of a Vampurr!

Meet Louie. He is not your average house pet; he is a vampurr —a feline creature of the night with a penchant for the dramatic. Perched on the cold, ancient stone floor of a dimly lit crypt, Louie lets out a meow that is as loud as it is intense. He has a mission, and that mission is to rouse his mother, a vampire currently resting inside her polished wooden casket. Keen-eyed observers might notice something unusual about the arrangement: the heavy lid is propped open. Louie simply won't allow it any other way. He demands to leap inside the velvet-lined interior just as urgently as he demands to be let back out, making an open-door policy the path of least resistance for everyone involved. With a pair of delicate, sharp fangs catching the flickering torchlight and a wail echoing off the vaulted arches, it's only a matter of time before his persistent serenades wake the dead. How long can a vampire sleep through that ? At last, Savannah stirred, rising from her slumber with a massive, spine-lengthening stretch and a wide, fanged yawn. She knew there was no escaping it; trying to sleep through Louie’s relentless wailing was a fool's errand. Persistence was his specialty. It was time to pay the toll: a steady stream of gentle head scratches and a fresh bowl of blood for the hungry kitty. Beneath the ancient crypts, the gothic velvet, and the immortal bloodlines, a vampurr was still, at heart, a house cat—and a house cat expects to be thoroughly pampered. "Okay, Louie! Time to go!" Though Savannah was a creature of the night who preyed on the guilty—or at least those whom Louie strongly disapproved of—her fierce exterior melted entirely when it came to her vampurr. Cradling him in her arms, she stepped out beneath the glow of a brilliant full moon, stepping past silent headstones and weeping willows. As she scratched rhythmically behind his ears, the vampurr rumbled with a deep, contented purr. Once again, he was getting precisely his way. As always, Savannah made her way into the bustling city streets, knowing that strolling about with a creature as striking as Louie was bound to attract a crowd. Passersby would routinely flock over to shower the vampurr with adoration and affection. However, it served as an infallible moral compass: if someone dared to ignore him, or if Louie so much as flinched and pulled away from their touch, Savannah knew instantly that she had found her next victim.
