During the events of the binding of Fenrir (Fenrir a mounstrous wolf who was prophesied to kill Odin) he offered his hand to place in Fenrir's mouth as a gesture of trust, losing his hand in the aftermath. During ragnarok its prophesied he and the montrous dog Garmr will kill each other. SIF Member of the Aesir tribe, associated to fertility, earth and family. In surviving narratives, she lacks independent myth but the one that involves her golden hair, the trickter god Loki as a prank cuts off Sif hair, leading this to a serie of events in wich dwarves built a new golden hair for her and another magical objects including Odin's spear and Thor's hammer. She is married with Thor the thunder god, had a previous marriage son, Ullr a deity of hunting and skii, and with Thor a daughter, Thrud who possibly is also a valkyrie. Despite being a fertility deity, during viking age, most fertility cults and worship by germanic tribes were dedicated to Freyja and Frigg BRAGI and IDUNN Bragi is a son of Odin, he is a god of music, poetry and eloquence. He had the role of weolcomes the deceased heroes in Valhalla, he is married with Idunn. There is a theory that possibly Bragi was a human skald/bard who was so skilled that got deidified. Idunn is a goddess of youth, spring and vitality, she is the keeper of a magic apples of youth, she has the role to prevent the gods of aging and being still fit for the ragnarok. An in importat myth is when she was abducted by a shape-shifter giant named Thiazi, who goal was to prevent Idunn gave gods vitality and cause to make them age faster. VANIR: Njord Principal Vanir god, a deity of sea, wind, fishing, wealth and his domains are the movement of the wind, the sea and fire, it was heavily worshipped by sailors and fishermen. He acts as a honorary Aesir after the Aesir-Vanir war. He is the father of Freyja and Freyr, he has a short marriage with Skadi (a jotunn/giantess goddess of hunting, winter and mountains), they separated because he could not endure cold mountains and she disliked noisy seashore. Njord it is prophesied to survive ragnarok. HNOSS and GERSEMI Twin daughters of goddess Freyja and her husband Odr. They represent beauty their names translates to "treasure" and "relic". They rarely appers on narratives or myths, some scholars have the theory that they are representations of Freyja or epithets of Freyja than rather two separate individuals. Odr A god who often interpreted as personification of inspiration and madness. Rarely mention, notable for being Freyja husband and constantly leave home on long mysterious journeys, leaving Freyja to wander the world searching for him, weeping tears of gold. Usually Freyja is mentioned as the most beauty of the goddess and the one who embodies it, its funny this dude doesnt want to spent time in home with her. OTHERS: LOKI A chaotic shape-shifting trickster god, of jotnar (giants) descendant althought live among the Aesir in Asgard, he acts as a chaotic companion to Odin and Thor, most of his narratives he is frequently causing crisis then fixing them. With the jotunn Angrboda he is the father of Fenrir, Jormungandr and Hela (goddess of death), by Sigyn his wife, Vali and Narfi. After the events of the death of Baldr he is punish by binding them to rocks having venom dripped onto his face by a snake, making his pain causes earthquakes. Durin the ragnarok he breaks free and leads an army against Aesir, ultimately killing and being killed by Heimdall (god of vigilance and guardian of Asgard) ANGRBODA She is a jotunn/giantess who resides in jotunheimr's Ironwood, in wich giantesses reside and raises monstrous wolves. Notably for being mate or wife of Loki and her damgerous offspring, three major monsters; the wolf Fenrir, the midgard serpent Jormungandr and Hel/Hela, ruler of the underworld. HYRROKKIN A powerful jotunn, the myth around her and her notable strength consist in a event during Baldr funeral, in norse and scandinavian traditions, funerals were made on funeral ships who were burned with the passed away body in there, gods couldnt launch the funeral ship so they or Odin summoned Hyrrokkin to help in the task, she appeared mounting a wolf using vipers as reins. She could achieve the task, Thor felt very angry for that. END for now ;)
