Design Studio - Start to Finish
By Sealine
The new Design Studio at Budget Pixel is packed with features. This is my second venture in and I'm not even scratching the surface of what is available. Anyone who has read any of my previous blogs knows I bring many of the Avatars I created in a game called YoWorld to my AI images. This is no exception. Unfortunately, I got the idea to write this blog after I closed the design studio. Why is this important? The chat log is currently not saved. I will do my best to recall the changes I made along the way. First, my inspiration avatar: I had the AI Assistant set to Gemini 3.1 Pro, Think low. I asked it to recreate this character more realistically, including identifying features and being sure to include the hat, purse and companion pet. I also asked it to suggest a background. From this it generated a prompt and asked if I wanted to run it. It supplied an outdoor street setting lined with cafes in winter. I asked it to add a light snowfall and run this image. I neglected to pay attention to the model it was using and ended up with Grok. I immediately asked it rerun in GPT 1.5 low, but also to make the character semi-realistic and change the background to a vintage paper grain. The two results: The walking just wasn't working for me. (Anyone who has tried to walk most cats will understand why.) I asked the AI assistant to revise and have the character seated at a cafe table, hat embroidered with cat face like reference, cat at her feet and a hot beverage in her hands (below, left). Yikes those eyebrows are something! New revision to change eyebrows, make earrings hearts from pink rhinestones and make the cat bigger, fluffier and more realistic Persian (below, center). Since it also made the face on the cat purse more realistic, more refinement was needed. (below, right). The prompt for the image on the right above (a few details are things I added along the way, but a lot of it is AI created): A semi-realistic portrait of a stylish young woman with soft, natural eyebrows, voluminous light blue curly hair, glowing dark skin with rosy blush, and a model-perfect body with a cinched waist. She wears large heart-shaped earrings made entirely of sparkling pink rhinestones, a cozy white knitted cat-ear beanie with a cat face (eyes and nose) knitted directly onto it, a beige puffy winter jacket open over a fitted lace top, ripped blue jeans, and chunky beige boots. A cute, simple, stylized white cat-face bag (not realistic, cartoonish/minimalist accessory) rests near her on the table. She is sitting at a table at an outdoor cafe, holding a steaming beverage. At her feet is an extremely fluffy, adorable, highly realistic white Persian cat. The background features a softly lit cozy city street in winter with warm glowing café lights and a light snowfall, all overlaid with a textured vintage paper grain for a nostalgic artistic feel. After I left design studio, I decided I wanted to add a collar to the cat. This could also likely have been added in Design Studio, but I accomplished this with i2i GPT 1.5 using image above as reference and the prompt: Add a pink collar with a rhinestone heart tag on the cat. Change nothing else. (Image below): Finally, I wanted to create a video for this image. Grok is my go-to model for making videos but I was a bit nervous as it had given me a recent string of failures. Luckily, it came through for me on the first try this time. I have found for Grok videos, it works best with simple prompts. I went with: Maintain non-realistic quality. Cat rubs against her leg. She reaches down to pet the cat and smiles sweetly. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! Would love to hear your feedback and will be happy to answer any questions I can.
