Creating an original character

I often get asked how I created my original characters, there's eight in total, Annika, Azelea, Cleona, Delfina, Lana, Mindy, Penny and Rosie. Until recently I've shared very little about my thoughts and how I have created or prompted for any of my characters. I imagine if you're reading this you're interested in the process in how I have done this or are interested in possibly creating your own as well. Step one Choosing what your character will look like. What ethnicity are they? Do they have more than one such as Japanese and French Canadian? What color hair do they have? Is it natural, colored, do they have no pigment so it's white? What color eyes do they have are they natural, blue, green, brown or are they fantasy eyes purple, pink, yellow? What's their face shape does it match their ethnicity or are you going to change it? Step two What is their aesthetic? How do they present theirselves to the world? Are they girly? Are they a rebel? Are they academic? Are they are preppy? Do they wear jeans and t-shirts? Are they in workout gear? Do they wear traditional robes or garb? How are you bringing to life their aesthetic and who they are for the viewer? Step three Tying together step one and step two what is their appearance? Do they wear makeup? Is their hair up or down? Are they naturally beautiful and don't wear makeup? All of these things you have to figure out before you can start prompting for them. Step four Setting are you going to have them in different places? Are you going to have them in similar areas each time? What is their setting that you want them in? Step five Prompting, once you have them figured out you have to prompt for them. Instead of explaining how to prompt them I'm going to put the basics of one of my Original characters here as her setting changes this is just her appearance: A stunning young woman with long, flowing white-silver hair that catches the sunlight with a soft, metallic shimmer, gently tousled by a warm afternoon breeze. Her hair falls in soft waves down her back, with a few wispy strands brushing against her cheeks. Her eyes are large and vivid malachite green, flecked with hints of gold, giving her a radiant and mesmerizing gaze. Her complexion is fair with a natural blush, and a few freckles are scattered lightly across her nose and upper cheeks. She wears a calm, dreamy expression with a hint of curiosity. Her outfit is a charming sky-blue sundress adorned with tiny pink flowers, the fabric light and breathable, flowing gently around her knees. The dress has a fitted bodice with thin spaghetti straps and a softly flared skirt that moves with the breeze. A thin, pale pink ribbon cinches the waist, adding a delicate contrast. She wears classic white high-top Converse sneakers—clean, with visible laces and just a touch of wear on the soles, giving her a grounded, everyday charm. She carries a simple canvas tote bag slung over one shoulder, with a few books and a bouquet of small wildflowers peeking out. Step six Pick a model depending on what model you use will depend on what your character will look like. I will often run a few tests to see which model I like best, Flux pro 1.1, Flux pro ultra, seedream, Nana Banana Pro, GPT1.5 etc. Once you've selected your model it's important to run any prompt with your original character with it each time. Step seven Share them with people. Once you have completed steps 1-6 all that's left is to share them and remember the important thing is that you love what you're putting out. So, if other people aren't a fan as long as you're happy with them that is all that matters!
